NEWARK, N.J.–Green Depot (www.greendepot.com), the Brooklyn-based supplier of environmentally friendly and sustainable building products, services and solutions, today announced the opening of its newest showroom space in Newark, NJ.
The store, Green Depot’s first in New Jersey, is located near the northwestern edge of Newark Liberty International Airport at 6 International Way, Suite A, just off the 1 & 9 South. Green Depot showcases the very best of green building materials in a 2,000 square foot, two-level space. It also features a design center where Green Depot staff works with customers to find building solutions that are green, cost-efficient and easily adaptable into their construction or renovation projects.
Through their “Flip It Green” program, the Green Depot team onsite can take conventional blueprint specs and re-work them to offer better, healthier and greener alternatives on any project. Green Depot will also offer customers access to its 360 Network of qualified green professionals and LEED accredited contractors.
“As green building becomes an increasingly viable and vital decision for those in the industry and for consumers, Green Depot is proud and poised to provide solutions that are easy, accessible, affordable and gratifying,” said Carmen Arguelles, president of Green Depot. Green Depot’s distribution reaches all along the Northeast corridor and we’re glad to open a space in New Jersey where builders and consumers can come and see what’s available for themselves.
The Newark showroom currently employs six and is managed by Jim Holiber. All staff members have extensive experience in both building and with environmental products such as those on display in the showroom.
